Case Study: Automating Compliance in Under a Month

Background: A Fortune 500 company needed a way to document supplier compliance with the recently enacted CPSIA. The application would have to interface with the client’s existing software in order to avoid redundant data entry, while also providing a scalable solution to accommodate the recent acquisition of two National retail chains. Modifying their current software was not an option. All three retailers utilized different versions of Retek, running at separate locations.

Solution: We conducted several rounds of meetings with their project teams to flesh out the retailers’ compliance needs. A month after our initial conversation, the new CPSIA Web Application was launched.

Follow-up: In part due to the positive supplier feedback, we were recently hired to expand the application by adding additional compliance support; included a new Prop 65 supplier dashboard.
